This brush works very well at getting food pieces off plates and pots and such. However, I find that sometimes a grease film or the like remains on the plate if I'm not careful - so a sponge may be better suited for that sort of job. I do still use this brush to clean glasses and plates that don't have grease residue on them, though, and I'll also use this brush to get the big stuff off before finishing off with a cotton scrubber to remove the residue.
This brush works well with plates and large bowls. I like the brush with a little soap on it for cleaning all kinds of stuff.
This brush works really well. The long brush makes it easy to get all the sides and corners of dishes.
Good solid scrubbing brush with long lasting bristles that don’t mat up with rough use.
I do like this brush. I'm still debating about whether it is actually better/more practical than my washable dish cloths that I've replaced once in 20 years. Honestly, I think the real winner will be determined by how I or anyone does dishes. Do you fill a sink with water and add dishsoap? If so, dish cloths will be the winner. Do you use a solid dishsoap or drizzle liquid dishsoap over your dishes? If so, this brush is for you! It does a good job. It works like a dish cloth. It does not replace either my peach pit scrubber or my steel wool scrubber. I'm still debating, but I do think this is a very well-made product! I love that the head is replaceable while the handle can be used for quite some time! In the end, I have been transitioning to use less water while doing dishes, so I will hang on to this guy to see what dishwashing method wins out in my house in the end!
