Double-Edge Safety Razor
Rockwell Razors double-edge safety razor is a sustainable and beautiful alternative to disposable cartridge razors. The razor features an adjustable design to accommodate your skin type and stubble length so you get a close, comfortable shave. This is a great beginner safety razor and comes with 5 Swedish stainless steel razor blades.
Putting it together and shaving underarms and legs was easy though I had to go a slower, little afraid I would cut myself (maybe just because it was first time). Slower wasn't necessarily a bad thing. It made me more mindful of the process and take more "me" time. More practice I'll probably get faster. Biggest complaint is the handle is too short. I have larger hands and the shorter handle makes it awkward to hold. But the shave was actually smoother than my usual razors and I am thrilled at getting rid of plastic disposable razors.
Great shaver, only complaint is the handle design is very short for a mans hand.
I was procrastinating on trying this razor because I didn't want to figure out how to put it together. But today I bucked up the courage to do so (and of course out of all moments, it's when I was rushing to get ready for work) and I was surprised how easy it was to assemble the razor. Then I discovered how much fun I had using it! I genuinely enjoyed shaving (I didn't think I'd ever say those words together) and loved how quick and smooth of a shave it was. The razor is also easy to clean in between shaves, so it didn't get terribly clogged like the plastic ones I used in the past. Definitely worth trying out!
I was a little intimidated at first as I've heard razors like this can be tricky but it is so simple and safe to use! I've very happy I made the switch because the disposable plastic razors were something I was always bothered by because of how wasteful they are. Thank you, Wild Minimalist!
I was nervous my first use, I was sure I would accidentally cut myself! BUT it’s super easy to use and I felt very safe. I do wish I decided to get this earlier instead of wasting plastic.
