Lip & Cheek Stain
The lip & cheek stain strikes the right balance between not too pink, a little red wine-y, and a little black berry-y. Alkanet and beet root give this stain its rich color and its mild and earthy scent, with just a touch of essential oil of rose geranium. Rose geranium is used in aromatherapy to reduce nervousness and tension, and has mild antibacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory properties which all aid in the overall health of the skin. A little dab of this stuff on the apples of your cheeks and on your lips adds just the right dose of color and the beeswax gives this stain great staying power. Put a little on for a subtle effect or more for a lipstick like look.

I don't wear makeup because I don't like putting weird stuff on my face but I like the simple ingredients of this product and that it feels moisturizing rather than powdery and drying. I am familiar with geranium essential oil so the smell is not unusual for me but may be strong to new users. I like the texture of this product and the cute little box it arrived in. To conclude, I give this lip/cheek stain my thumbs up.
I love the colour. Do not be turned off by the way it looks so dark online. You can apply it so it barely shows or so it shows a lot. It does have a strong smell at first, but it vanishes quickly. I also love it as a lip colour. I had mostly quit wearing any make-up, but this is easy and quick to apply, looks totally natural, and is great. It is not greasy. I am very pleased I tried it.
I agree with the other reviews, that the color is quite subtle, which I like personally as it gives off an enhanced natural look but if you apply it a few times it becomes darker. The scent is a nice earthy rose. Its very subtle for cheeks too. I have sensitive skin and didn't get a reaction when I used it as a cheek stain.
Love how natural it looks and that it’s two in one!
I expected this to be a nice bright fuschia/pink but when I put on two layers it shows just a hint of added neutral pink. It also does have a faint beet smell which isn't the greatest but not a deal breaker.
