The stand comes with a small terracotta dish for catching water and can be removed and cleaned with warm water and soap. The brush can be composted at the end of life.

Impressive product especially that the clay bottom dish is included
It is still early. I have only used it a few times but so far so good. I think the bristles do a better job than plastic ones. Some of the bristles bent out of place but I don't know that that is a problem.
Dig it. It's attractive, sustainable, and effective.
I like this brush! My husband moved to the Clorox toilet wands, which if one isn't purposeful in cleaning under the rim, it won't get cleaned. I took back over cleaning the toilet, and I want to move away from plastic, so I found this brush.
With some bartender's keeper sprinkled on the brush head, I was able to clean ALL of the toilet, including under the rim!
The brush and stand are smaller than one might think, but I expected that from the comments I read before purchasing.
However, it's only small compared to the plastic brushes generally sold, and I was able to scrub the entire toilet bowl, even down the shoot, with no trouble.
I like this brush!!!
So happy to see a sustainable alternative to the plastic toilet brush! Considering the amount of use this will get it is a sturdy brush and so much more attractive than the plastic version. I opted for the brush only as the stand was a bit pricey. Use a small ceramic planter as the base and it is a lovely addition to the bathroom.
