Seems like you wouldn't want to put soap in your mouth, but i really have found it to be such a sense of clean and fresh! Soap is gentle, and not offensive!
I appreciated the innovation of a toothpaste in soap. It leaves teeth very clean but it doesn't have a good flavor/ smell and it leaves a kind of film on your teeth, although it doesn't contain glycerin. Maybe it needs some formula adjustment.
But after using the soap for 2 weeks we've gotten used to it. The first thing you notice is that it's not sweet. I never thought of toothpaste as sweet, but it took a little time for my expectation of what it "should" taste like to shift. At first it did taste soapy which I thought was going to be a deal breaker, but now it just tastes neutral. And all the upsides (longlasting, biodegradable packaging, no questionable additives) align better with my personal goals.
Although the toothsoap definitely tastes like soap, it does its job and I would highly recommend! It took me a few days to get used to the taste, but it's easy to get over. Knowing that it's zero waste makes it worthwhile.
This toothpaste has amazing packaging, is great for travel, and tastes pretty good! I recommend it.
